Description The Onyx is a function-row-less ten-key-less, or FRL TKL for short, custom keyboard with macro column designed by funderburker and quaddepos, in collaboration with Upas for facilitating production and creating the PCB.
It is available in both Winkey and Winkeyless layouts, with plates being separated into ANSI and ISO layouts instead of a universal layout, offering Full and Half plates, and held in place with a brass weight insert. The total weight of the keyboard is shy of 2 kilograms after being built.
The design is seamless and features a 7 degree typing angle. It offers a USB-C connection port that is internally connected to the main PCB via a daughterboard. The PCB is VIA compatible for easy configuration and programming. Gaskets are used to mount the plate.
The keyboard comes with all necessary parts to assemble the case. Stabilizers, switches, keycaps and a cable are not included and must be sourced separately according to your own preference for these parts. A Cannon Keys keyboard carrying case and cloth are included.
